I was supposed to be photographing Enter Shikari's gig at Blackpool Empress Ballroom tonight but got there to find out the gig had been cancelled for health and safety reasons. It has given me a chance to catch up on some editing though.

Last weekend I did some photographs for After Adoption and then spent today with Adam working on his model portfolio.

There'll be more of Adam's shoot to come in the next week but for now here's a quick sneak peek of what we shot today...

For the next couple of months I'm photographing Billy Elliot the Musical - which is being put on at the Lowther Pavillion in Lytham. Cast and crew headshots will be up in the client gallery by the end of the week - I'll post the link and password hint up as soon as they are done.

In no particular order, these are some of my favourite shots of 2009.

My last shoot of the year was GK's first solo gig in the intimate surroundings of Leaf Tea Shop in Liverpool. I'd photographed GK before when he was fronting GK and the Renegades. After headling Liverpool Academy they split early this year and this was GK's comeback gig. He was after a chilled, "Live Lounge" style vibe, which perfectly suited the atmosphere of Leaf Tea Shop (somewhere I really want to go back to and sample their amazing range of teas!)

To 'celebrate' the fact that I turn 27 in 2010 I'm going to be offering 27 discounted shoots over the year. These are going to range from actor headshots and portraits to promotional music photographs and even weddings!
